Encore Society Brunch

Location: Music Academy of the West – Koi Pond Graden
Type: Donor Recognition Event – Reserved for Encore Society members.
Description: The Music Academy will honor the dedicated members of the Encore Society, who have disclosed a provision on behalf of the Academy in their estate plans, or have contributed funds to the Music Academy's endowment. This elegant brunch in the beautiful Koi Pond Garden will also include a special musical performance by Music Academy of the West 2008 Fellows.

Bolcom and Morris Cabaret

Time: 7:30 pm reception, 8 pm performance
Location: Hahn Hall
Type: Donor Recognition Event – Reserved for Council of Contributors members who contribute $2,500 and above to our annual fund.
Description: The second Council-exclusive event this summer will feature William Bolcom performing in the acclaimed Cabaret act "Bolcom and Morris" with his wife, Joan Morris.

Santa Barbara Golf Invitational

Vocal Auditions

Type: Donor Benefit Event – Reserved for Music Academy of the West donors who annually contribute $1,000 and above.
Description: This unique event provides an insiders-view into the classical vocal audition process. Watch and listen as vocalists perform prepared opera arias and demonstrate to Music Academy of the West adjudicators a thorough understanding of the character, dramatic situation, and meaning of each aria or song text.
