An Evening with George Manahan

Wednesday, July 28
Time: 5:30 pm
Location: Lehmann Hall, Music Academy of the West
Type: Donor Recognition Event – Reserved for Music Academy donors who contribute $500 and above to the Academy annual fund.
Description: Following an informative discussion with Academy opera conductor George Manahan, music director of the New York City Opera, attendees will be treated to a private cocktail reception in Kuehn Courtyard.

CABARET

Santa Barbara Golf Invitational

Description: The Santa Barbara Golf Invitational includes a buffet luncheon, 18-holes of golf, a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, and a three-course dinner complete with a special musical performance.

2011 Vocal Auditions

Saturday, December 4
Time: 3:30 pm
Location: Hahn Hall, Music Academy of the West
Type: Donor Benefit Event – Reserved for Music Academy donors who contribute $1,000 or more to the Academy annual fund.
Description: Be among the first to see the world's most talented young singers vying for 23 positions within the Academy's internationally renowned Voice Program. Applicants will perform live for Marilyn Horne, Warren Jones, and other select Academy faculty members. This is a unique opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look at the audition process and a preview of some of the talented singers you could be hearing during the 2011 Summer Festival.
