Capital & Endowment Giving

Capital Giving

Individual seats in Hahn Hall are available for naming through a gift of $5,000 per seat. Each sponsored seat will feature the donor’s preferred name listing on a beautifully engraved brass plate. Individual, foundation, honorary, and memorial listings are welcome as part of this campaign. There are fewer than 190 seats available for naming, and they are being assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.

Endowment Gifts

Why Make a Gift to Support the Endowment?
Endowment funds differ from other philanthropic options in that they benefit the Music Academy in perpetuity. Gifts to the Academy’s endowment fund are invested, and each year a portion of the interest earned is used to defray Academy operating expenses. The remainder is added to the original principal, which continues to grow. If you are interested in making a contribution that will have a lasting effect on the future of the organization, a gift to the Academy’s endowment is an ideal opportunity.

Legacy Giving
A gift to our endowment is a meaningful way to make a lasting impact on the Academy’s full-scholarship training program and future generations of great classical musicians and audience members.

A wide variety of legacy giving opportunities are available. For example, through an outright or pledged endowment contribution donors can establish in perpetuity a named full scholarship or faculty chair position in the department of their choice. Endowed programmatic and capital naming opportunities are also available. We would be honored to work with you to create a legacy gift that would be most meaningful to you and your family.
