Door Sales at Off-campus Events

We commence ticketing one hour prior to the performance.

Senior & Student Discounts

Seniors and students qualify for $11 tickets to instrumental masterclasses (not including solo piano) and $16 tickets to the Vocal Masterclass Series.

Instrumental Masterclass Series Passes

Discounted masterclass passes be used for any instrumental masterclass for which there is general admission. Instrumental masterclass passes cannot be used to gain admission to solo piano and vocal masterclasses.

Handling Fee

Purchase of Packaged Series: A flat $8 handling fee is charged to subscribers for the processing of series orders.

Purchase of Single Tickets: A $1.50 fee per ticket is charged when purchases are made by phone and fax. The maximum handling fee for non-series purchases is $6. No handling fee is charged for non-series purchases made in person. 

Facility Fees

A $3 facility fee is added to every ticket purchased for events at The Lobero. A graduated fee ($1 to $3) is added to each ticket purchased for events at The Granada. These fees help to maintain The Lobero as a California Registered Historic Landmark and to maintain the Granada Theatre in first rate condition following its 50 million dollar renovation. 

Patrons in Wheelchairs

In order for us to provide the easiest and most enjoyable experience for you at our venues, we request that you notify the ticket office if you or any member of your party will attend a Music Academy event – even a free or general admission event – in a wheelchair.

Tax-deductible Donations

If you are unable to attend a performance, we encourage you to make a tax-deductible contribution to the Music Academy by returning your tickets at least 24 hours before the event. We will be provide written confirmation of your gift. No refunds or exchanges. 

Group Discounts

Groups of 20 or more are invited to take advantage of special rates for many events. Please phone 805.969.8787.

Parking

Parking on the Miraflores campus of the Music Academy is free. Parking spaces are ample; please do not park on neighborhood roadways.

Pets

Pets will not be admitted to Music Academy events. Please do not attempt to leave pets in the care of Academy staff.
