
2011 Application Deadlines & Audition Dates
Application Results Emailed during February & early March
Online applications are preferred. Applicants also have the option of downloading and printing a paper application in pdf format. Deadlines for mailed materials are "postmark" deadlines, not "received by" deadlines.
Online applicants: Following the submission of an online application, the audition recording(s) must be mailed to the Music Academy.
Paper applicants: Application and audition recording must be mailed together in one packet.
All instrumental and solo piano applicants (except for percussionists requesting a live audition) must submit an audition recording. Audition recordings must be labeled with the applicant's name, instrument, and audition repertoire. Applications are not considered complete until the recording is received. All application materials, including audition recordings, must be submitted by the same deadline in order to qualify for that deadline's application fee. Recordings postmarked after the deadline the application form was submitted online or postmarked will incur a higher application fee. See Application deadlines and fees below.
