Harp
JoAnn Turovsky (weeks 1-8)
The harp Fellow performs as a member of the Academy Festival Orchestra, receives weekly private lessons with Ms. Turovsky, and participates in chamber music ensembles as opportunities become available. The Academy plans to host two public harp masterclasses during the 2012 festival. The harpist is offered additional solo performance opportunities, including recitals and public outreach concerts.
Harp applicants must apply online and submit 1 copy of a video DVD audition recording.
The Music Academy accepts one harpist each summer.
The Application
The online application requires three components: the application data, a one-page resume, and a short statement (100 words) explaining why you wish to attend the Music Academy.
An application fee is required by credit card or electronic check when submitting the online application. Application fees are NON-refundable.

- One solo
- Three orchestral excerpts
VIDEO DVD AUDITION RECORDING: Continuous, unedited DVD format required (do not stop or pause filming between repertoire selections). DVD must be playable on a standard DVD player. Write your full name and "harp" on the DVD and case (please do not adhere labels to the disc).
