The Convocation for the Music Academy Remote Learning Institute (MARLI) included a welcome from President and CEO Scott Reed, the introduction of 2020 fellows, Chief Artistic Officer Jamie Broumas introduced faculty artists, Music Director Sir Simon Rattle and Managing Director Kathryn McDowell from the London Symphony Orchestra shared a special message, and Keynote Speaker Beth Morrison challenged fellows to innovate.

Thank you to MARLI Co-Directors Jennifer Bowman and Casey Molino Dunn for producing Convocation and successfully launching this new program.

The MARLI curriculum began today with two seminars featuring Innovation Speakers Kelly Hall-Tompkins, Clive Chang, and Conor Hanick, a Clarinet Studio Class with Richie Hawley, a Vocal Institute Acting Class with guest artist Matthew Ozawa, a Recital Programming Workshop with John Churchwell, and 45 private lessons.
