DIRECTOR OF PLANNED GIVING
As a member of the Advancement Department, the Director of Planned Giving will develop, implement, and manage a strategic Planned Giving program to achieve or exceed annual planned giving targets for the Academy’s legacy society (“The Encore Society”), and work with a team including the CEO, Chief Advancement Officer, and Board in raising cash and planned gifts to support a focused endowment growth initiative. RETAIL SHOPS ASSISTANT
The Retail Shops Assistant is a member of the Music Academy of the West’s Administration. Primary responsibilities include assisting Shops Manager in all aspects of daily Shops operations, as well as pop up, retail and social media sales coordination. As one of The Shops primary points of contact for customers and donors, the Retail Shops Assistant exemplifies generosity and courteousness, and as such interacts with customers and donors with warmth and friendliness. CHILDREN'S CHOIR DIRECTOR
The Music Academy seeks two dynamic, enthusiastic, and experienced Children’s Choir Directors to build an afterschool program in partnership with the Santa Barbara County Education Office. These new positions represent a unique opportunity to build a far-reaching after-school choral program in a community that supports education, cultural diversity, and the arts. Primary responsibilities include building and working with children’s choirs and developing and managing parent volunteer groups.
