ARJUN GANGULY 21, born in St. Cloud, Minnesota, is a junior at the University of Minnesota and began playing viola when he was ten. Mr. Ganguly’s primarily teachers include Korey Konkol, David Arnott, and Sabina Thatcher. Arjun Ganguly was a member of Carnegie Hall's National Youth Orchestra from 2013-2015. Last summer, Mr. Ganguly studied at the Aspen Music Festival & School as a fellow.  Arjun Ganguly has won first prize in several competitions, including St. Cloud Symphony Orchestra's Young Artist Competition, Thursday Musical's Young Artist Competition, Minnesota Sinfonia's Young Artist Competition, American Fine Arts Festival Competition, and the Junior Viola division of American String Teacher Association's National Solo Competition. Mr. Ganguly has participated in masterclasses held by CJ Chang, James Dunham, Beth Guterman Chu, Máté Szűcs, Roberto Diaz, and Nobuko Imai.
