EMMA ZHUANG 20, born in Sydney, Australia, is earning her bachelor’s degree at The Juilliard School, studying with Li Lin. A finalist in the Australian National Youth Concerto Competition, Ms. Zhuang has performed extensively as a soloist, chamber, and orchestral musician across Australia, the United States, and China. Ms. Zhuang has performed in recital in the Sydney Opera House, and in music festivals throughout Australia; including appearances as a Young Artist at the 2015 Canberra International Music Festival. A passionate advocate for contemporary music, Emma Zhuang has performed in the New Juilliard Ensemble, giving the U.S. Premiere of György Kurtág’s Brefs Messages, and the World Premiere of Alexander Goehr's Verschwindendes Wort in the 32nd Focus! Festival.
