JOSHUA BLUE 23, from Aurora, Illinois, is a master’s student at The Juilliard School studying with Dr. Robert White. The British-American tenor has been featured in the Bach B Minor Mass and has performed Gabriel von Eisenstein in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, the title role in Britten’s Albert Herring, Sam Kaplan in Weil’s Street Scene, Male Chorus in Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia, Don Ottavio in Mozart’s Don Giovanni, and Ruggero in Puccini’s La Rondine, performing with institutions globally, including Oberlin Opera Theater (Ohio), Franco-American Vocal Academy (Austria), CityMusic (Cleveland), and Oberlin (Italy). Mr. Blue recently finished his third season with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis singing in the American premier of The Trial by Philip Glass. This is his first summer at Music Academy of the West
