KAI ROCKE (’16) 22, from Woodbridge, Virginia, earned his bachelor’s degree at the New England Conservatory of Music. Mr. Rocke is an aspiring orchestral performer and active chamber musician, and has performed with the New Bedford Symphony, Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and most recently the Amici Wind Quintet. Mr. Rocke participated in the National Symphony Orchestra Youth Fellowship Program, where he performed on the Kennedy Center's Millennium stage, and studied one-on-one with a member of the orchestra. Inspired by his parent’s passion for music, Mr. Rocke began his musical endeavors at age 10, playing saxophone in his elementary school band, and has since studied bassoon with Gregg Henegar, Sue Heineman, Lewis Lipnick ,and David Brundage. Kai Rocke was a Music Academy Fellow in 2016 and is excited to be returning for the 70th anniversary.
