MARGEAUX MALONEY (’16) 25, born in Atlanta, Georgia, is a freelance violinist living in Los Angeles.  Ms. Maloney is Associate Concertmaster of the Reno Chamber Orchestra and also performs as a substitute musician with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, San Diego Symphony, Charleston Symphony, and Fresno Philharmonic Orchestras.  Ms. Maloney received her bachelor’s degree from The Juilliard School under the tutelage of Lewis Kaplan, and her graduate degree from USC Thornton School of Music, where she studied with Martin Chalifour.  Ms. Maloney is very excited to be back for her second summer at the Music Academy of the West!
