PHILIP SHEEGOG 22, from Anaheim, California, recently completed his undergraduate degree at The Juilliard School, where he served as co-principal cellist of the Juilliard Orchestra and was an inaugural member of the institution’s Honors Chamber Music Program. Mr. Sheegog is a dynamic, collaborative artist who maneuvers within a diverse array of musical personas with ease. Drawing from roots equally influenced by classical, pop, rock, and electronic music, Mr. Sheegog has been sought out for projects from all ends of the musical spectrum; from The Juilliard School’s contemporary ensemble, AXIOM, to the Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses video game music tour. A passionate advocate for new art, Mr. Sheegog has performed over forty premieres by artists, from choreographer John Heginbotham to film composer Christopher Gunning.
