RUTH YOULMAE CHANG 23, from Dallas, Texas is a graduate student at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music where she privately studies with Grigory Kalinovsky. Ms. Chang made her orchestral debut with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Miguel Harth-Bedoya in 2012. Ms. Chang received of The Bayard H. Friedman Award for Outstanding Student in Performing Arts and has been a featured artist on WRR’s classical café. As a chamber musician, Ms. Chang has worked with James Buswell, Joseph Silverstein, and the members of the Borromeo, Juilliard, and Ying string quartets.
