DIRECTOR OF ARTISTIC OPERATIONS
Full-time, Exempt

The Director of Artistic Operation plays a pivotal role in the Academy’s Artistic Operations Department and is responsible for planning and executing the annual 8-week summer festival and other year-round programs. The Director of Artistic Operations reports to the Chief Artistic Officer and supervises a team of 2 year-round and 10-15 summer staff.

ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE
Full-time, Non-Exempt

Primary responsibilities include managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, as well as providing other financial and administrative support for all departments. The ideal candidate has excellent attention-to-detail, financial accuracy, and strong customer service towards colleagues, vendors, and other constituents. This position includes essential job functions which require on-site office attendance.

BUILDINGS & GROUNDS TECHNICIAN
Full-time, Non-Exempt

The Buildings and Grounds Technician reports to the Director of Facilities and assists in the daily and long-range maintenance and care of all campus facilities. The Buildings & Grounds Technician also supports staff and visitors with various on-site needs, especially during the 8-week Summer Festival. This is an essential job function which requires in-person work during periods of social distancing.

DIRECTOR, SING!
Full time, Excempt

Music Academy of the West is committed to serving the youth of Santa Barbara with the highest level of excellence in choral instruction and music education through its Sing! program, partnering with the Young People’s Chorus of New York City to plan the program’s growth and efficacy. The Director of Sing! will provide vision and administrative support to all areas of Santa Barbara County and will oversee the YPC partnership. The Director of Sing! will also supervise the part-time choral directors and will be the direct liaison with the Santa Barbara Unified School district, principals, and Academy board.
