DIRECTOR OF MAJOR GIFTS
Full-time, Non-Exempt

The Director of Major Gifts will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of annual gifts of $2,500 to $15,000 and above from individuals. Will work closely with the Chief Advancement Officer and Chief Executive Officer, serving as the primary driver for internal processes and external moves that will ensure a consistent and deliberate focus on those individuals whose philanthropy will have significant impact on the organization.

DATABASE MANAGER
Full-time, Non-Exempt

The Database Manager is a key member of both the Finance and Institutional Advancement Departments, with dual reporting to the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Advancement Officer. This position provides critical analysis of the Academy’s financials and drives data management on multiple financial, donor, and marketing platforms, including supervising data entry by both departments.

2022 Summer Festival Opportunities

Artistic Department

ARTIST LIAISON (up to two positions available)
Seasonal, Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Employment Period: June 6 – Aug 8, 2022

The Artist Liaison supports the needs of all guest artists and conductors during the Summer School and Festival. The Artist Liaison also works directly with faculty artists and Music Academy administration and reports to the Director of Artistic Operations.

ARTISTIC PROGRAM COORDINATOR (up to two positions available)

The Artistic Program Coordinator (APC) works closely with the administration, faculty, and fellows to produce events, manage masterclass assignments and room scheduling, schedule activities, and collect and distribute program information for all events. The APC reports to the Director of Artistic Operations.

INNOVATION ASSOCIATE

The Innovation Associate plays a pivotal role in the Music Academy’s Innovation Institute during the Summer School and Festival. This position reports to the Vice President of Innovation and Program Development and works closely with the administration, fellows, faculty, guest artists, and speakers.

LIBRARY ASSISTANT

The Library Assistant supports activities of the library, including the preparation, distribution, and collection of music for orchestra, opera, and chamber performances. The Library Assistant works with faculty, conductors, fellows, and administration and reports to the Music Librarian.

STAGE CREW (up to three postitions available)

The Stage Crew is responsible for the day-to-day production needs of the Music Academy’s summer festival. Duties include stage managing events in Hahn Hall, Lehmann Hall, and Weinman Hall, as well as providing support for events held in off-campus venues.

SUMMER HOUSING DIRECTOR

The Housing Director (HD) is a member of a dynamic team which manages the residence life program during the Summer School and Festival. The Music Academy houses up to 140 fellows and select summer administration during the Festival. The HD helps shape a positive, inclusive, safe, healthy, and supportive culture at the residential campus. This is a summer “live-in” position.

Resident Directors (RDs) are members of a dynamic team which manages the residence life program during the Summer School and Festival. The Music Academy houses up to 140 fellows and select summer administration during the Festival. RDs are the primary contact for Academy residents while on the residential campus and help shape a positive, inclusive, safe, healthy, and supportive campus culture.
