ARTISTIC OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Full-time, Non-Exempt, Temporary

The Artistic Operations Coordinator plays a key role in the Artistic Operations Department as it prepares for the summer festival, assisting in the areas of artistic administration, production, and innovation curriculum. This is a temporary seasonal position, with the potential to transition to a year-round, full-time role. This is an excellent growth opportunity for a detail-oriented critical thinker, capable of juggling multiple responsibilities.

ARTISTIC PROGRAM COORDINATOR (up to two positions available)
Full-time, Non-Exempt, Seasonal

The Artistic Program Coordinators (APCs) work closely with the administration, faculty, guest artists, and fellows to produce public and non-public events, manage masterclass assignments, manage the master schedule, schedule instructional and performance activities, manage room scheduling, and collect and distribute program information.

The Artist Liaison(s) work directly with guest artists, conductors, and faculty artists during the Summer School and Festival. The positions report to the Senior Director of Festival and Production and also work closely with administration and fellows.

LIBRARY ASSISTANT 
Full-time, Non-Exempt, Seasonal

The Library Assistant supports all activities of the circulation and orchestra library, including the preparation, distribution, and collection of music for orchestra concerts, opera productions, and chamber performances. The Library Assistant works closely with faculty, conductors, fellows, and administration and reports to the Music Librarian.

AUDIO TECHNICAL MANAGER
Full-time, Exempt, Seasonal

The Audio Technical Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of audio technology needs for the Music Academy. Duties include managing audio and electronic needs for concerts and masterclasses, as well as live streamed events. The Audio Technical Manager reports to the Senior Director of Festival and Production and will work closely with administration, faculty, guest artists, and fellows.

STAGE CREW  (up to three positions available)

The Stage Crew is responsible for the day-to-day production needs of the Music Academy’s Summer School & Festival. Duties include stage managing events in Hahn Hall and providing support for events held in off-campus venues. The members of the stage crew report to the Senior Director of Festival and Production and will work closely with administration, faculty, guest artists, and fellows.

SUMMER HOUSING DIRECTOR (1 position available)

Position Dates: June 16 to August 10, 2021

The Housing Director (HD) is a member of a dynamic team which manages the residence life program during the Academy’s annual Summer School and Festival. The Music Academy houses up to 140 fellows and select summer administration during the Festival. The HD helps shape a positive, inclusive, safe, healthy, and supportive culture at the residential campus. Primary tasks include managing the community activities calendar and fellow transportation schedule, liaising between the residential campus facilities department and the Music Academy administration, ensuring compliance with policies, and responding to crisis events/campus emergencies.

SUMMER RESIDENT DIRECTOR (3 positions available)

Dates: June 16 to August 10, 2021

Resident Directors (RDs) are members of a dynamic team which manages the residence life program during the Academy’s annual Summer School and Festival. The Music Academy houses up to 140 fellows and select summer administration during the Summer Festival. RDs are the primary contact for Academy residents while on the residential campus and are responsible for shaping a positive, inclusive, safe, healthy, and supportive campus culture. Primary tasks include engaging fellows in weekly social activities, referring to support services, ensuring compliance with policies, managing Academy residence halls, and responding to crisis events/campus emergencies.
