CHIEF ARTISTIC OFFICER
The Music Academy of the West is seeking a Chief Artistic Officer. The ideal candidate will be a partner to the President, an exceptional colleague and manager, and an artistic visionary and entrepreneur capable of developing new lines of business. Moving forward, the Academy has ambitious plans for growth. The Chief Artistic Officer will work to further galvanize and build out these efforts, and identify additional possibilities for growth. With a rare combination of both immense artistic and administrative talent and institutional endowment, the Academy is an ideal laboratory for artistic innovation. The next CAO should leverage these assets and capture the imagination of all stakeholders, creating and implementing the next phase of the Academy’s artistic future.
DIRECTOR OF PLANNED GIVING
As a member of the Advancement Department, the Director of Planned Giving will develop, implement, and manage a strategic Planned Giving program to achieve or exceed annual planned giving targets for the Academy’s legacy society (“The Encore Society”), and work with a team including the CEO, Chief Advancement Officer, and Board in raising cash and planned gifts to support a focused endowment growth initiative.
