ADVANCEMENT OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

The Advancement Operations Coordinator (AOC) works closely with all members of the Music Academy of the West’s Advancement team to coordinate the Academy’s fundraising and donor cultivation programs. The AOC will manage projects from conception to completion and support all donor event activities, help prepare donor solicitations, oversee the development of advancement collateral, and assist in donor database management.

PERSONNEL MANAGER
Full-time, Exempt, Seasonal

The Personnel Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of Music Academy personnel, serving as a liaison between Academy fellows, guest conductors, faculty, and administration.

ARTISTIC PROGRAM COORDINATOR (up to two positions available)
Full-time, Non-Exempt, Seasonal

The Artistic Program Coordinators (APCs) work closely with the administration, faculty, guest artists, and fellows to produce public and non-public events, manage masterclass assignments, manage the master schedule, schedule instructional and performance activities, manage room scheduling, and collect and distribute program information.

ARTISTIC LIAISON (up to two positions available)

The Artist Liaison(s) work directly with guest artists, conductors, and faculty artists during the Summer School and Festival. The positions report to the Senior Director of Festival and Production and also work closely with administration and fellows.

MUSIC LIBRARIAN

The Music Librarian oversees all activities of the circulation and orchestra library, including the preparation, distribution, and collection of music for orchestra concerts, opera productions, and chamber performances. The Music Librarian works closely with faculty, conductors, fellows, and administration and reports to the Senior Director of Festival and Production.

LIBRARY ASSISTANT

The Library Assistant supports all activities of the circulation and orchestra library, including the preparation, distribution, and collection of music for orchestra concerts, opera productions, and chamber performances. The Library Assistant works closely with faculty, conductors, fellows, and administration and reports to the Music Librarian.

AUDIO TECHNICAL MANAGER

The Audio Technical Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of audio technology needs for the Music Academy. Duties include managing audio and electronic needs for concerts and masterclasses, as well as live streamed events. The Audio Technical Manager reports to the Senior Director of Festival and Production and will work closely with administration, faculty, guest artists, and fellows.

STAGE CREW  (up to three positions available)

The Stage Crew is responsible for the day-to-day production needs of the Music Academy’s Summer School & Festival. Duties include stage managing events in Hahn Hall and providing support for events held in off-campus venues. The members of the stage crew report to the Senior Director of Festival and Production and will work closely with administration, faculty, guest artists, and fellows.
