CHIEF ARTISTIC OFFICER

The Music Academy of the West is seeking a Chief Artistic Officer. The ideal candidate will be a partner to the President, an exceptional colleague and manager, and an artistic visionary and entrepreneur capable of developing new lines of business. Moving forward, the Academy has ambitious plans for growth. DIRECTOR OF PLANNED GIVING

As a member of the Advancement Department, the Director of Planned Giving will develop, implement, and manage a strategic Planned Giving program to achieve or exceed annual planned giving targets for the Academy’s legacy society (“The Encore Society”), and work with a team including the CEO, Chief Advancement Officer, and Board in raising cash and planned gifts to support a focused endowment growth initiative.

SUMMER RESIDENT DIRECTOR

The Resident Directors are members of the Academy’s residence life team. In collaboration with the Housing Director, they manage the Academy’s residential life program, under the direction of the Student Services department. Resident Directors serve as the Academy’s primary contact for the residential campus at which the Academy houses fellows (students) and select summer administration. This is a summer “live-in” position.

SUMMER HOUSING DIRECTOR

The Housing Director collaborates with the Resident Directors in managing the Academy’s residence life program and residential campus under the direction of the Student Services department. The Music Academy provides a residential campus for the 140 fellows (students) who attend the annual Summer School and Festival. The Housing Director is a key member of the Residence Life team. This is a summer “live-in” position.

The Stage Crew is responsible for the day-to-day production needs of the Music Academy’s eight week summer festival. Duties include stage managing events in Hahn Hall as well as providing support for events held in off-campus venues. The members of the stage crew work closely with Music Academy administration, faculty, guest artists, and fellows.

PARKING & FACILITIES ASSISTANT

The Parking & Facilities Assistant will direct vehicle drivers to open parking spots, answer general questions about the day’s program, direct patrons to the correct building for Music Academy events, and assist with the general readiness of the Music Academy campus. Parking & Facilities Assistants will work approximately 25 hours per week.
